After you send everyone off to the reception for their first cocktail,
and we finish up with our few formals, I think it is time for you
to have a quick break. I will accompany you with your Groom to a quiet
location where you can have a little time for just the two of you.
I have found that many times after the ceremony and the formals, and
the rush to the reception, and then the big party, all of a sudden
it's mid-night and you're just getting to your room to collapse and
it finally hits you…You're Married!
By taking a few minutes for each other just before the reception,
you can have the time to look into each others eyes and really see
how beautiful you are, and that after all the planning, and phone
calls, and arrangements, and lists, and all the other stuff that goes
with this day, that you did it, you're married, and you get to spend
the rest of your lives together, and how happy you are at this moment.
And somewhere off to the side, I will get to photograph all of that.
And in a few weeks when it all calms down and you get to see your
photographs, those will be the ones that will bring back those feelings
and that you will cherish forever.
